What’s shakin’ Hanegev!!!!!
This is Joel Rittenberg, your Israeli Affairs Special Project Chair.
What’s going on in the happening corner of the Middle East you may ask?
Well, we can start off on a good note. Even though Israel did not invent ZMapp (the experimental vaccine for Ebola), Israeli biotechs have decided to restock and supply to places like Cameroon since the patients are running low on stock.
Now here’s a counter to the news that took place in Gaza. While Israel and Palestine are in a cease-fire, tensions are still high between the two groups. However, the next generation of the Israelis and Palestinians are trying to get along at a young age for a better future. The kids do a ton of activities together! Such as playing football (soccer) in a giant tournament with over 600 kids!

This has been an on-going case in minor efforts, but Israel has taken initiative. To read more about this click on the link below!
